At this point, I can't really speak to any great improvement in that aspect but I can say it is quite nice to sip on. It is very thyme'y tasting but in a pleasant way. I was worried that it would taste like I was sipping on Thanksgiving but it isn't like that at all. There is the earthiness from the herb but also lemony and bright. Just as you would expect. Steeps very well, though I wouldn't use boiling water here. Make sure you use just prior to boiling water otherwise you'll kill the flavor.I'm surprised I like it as much as I do. Maybe I am just not noticing the improvement in my respiratory ailment and it's happening.
