Hand made glazed Talavera tiles carefully created in the colonial city of San Miguel de Allende decorated using the silk screen process. Please see our wide range of different colorful tile designs. For use as wall tiles - not really suited for use as flooring tiles or in consistently wet areas (such as in a shower). If used outside, will be susceptible to freeze/thaw effects in cooler climates.Tumia LAC was founded in 1978 promoting fair trade crafts and goods from Latin America, working closely with organizations such as Tradecraft and Oxfam Trading, specializing in wholesale distribution, retail and mail order. Tumia LAC has worked with our tile makers in Mexico for many years and ensure that we pay a fair price (set by our partners), good working conditions and a sustainable future for our workers.

Amazing quality tiles, i have just used as coasters but if i had an older style house i would have wanted them in a kitchen or around a fireplace, these tiles are so expensive from tile shops and these look like they are from reclaimation yard, such style chic!
