For extreme vegan friends I know even beeswax is considered an animal by product. **Q: Does it sting or hurt when applied?** A: I had some pretty deep open cracks on my fingers and it stung for a few minutes or so but it wore off and it got to the point where the next times I applied O'keeffes, it did not sting at all.
