Also imagine: I didn't know how difficult it was to find pull chains at the store. (Apparently, big box stores don't have pull chains... you have to go to the hardware store.) Thank goodness for Amazon. These were exactly the chains I wanted. They're lightweight and yet really sturdy, and they were the fraction of the cost at my local Ace Hardware. They are also not really ornate, which fits with my design aesthetic which is more streamlined. So...
