So now it hangs everytime i pick up the phone as opposed to staying in place until i need to use it. I love this case and get a lot of compliments on it. It's very sturdy and takes dropping well. It also protects the phone from damage very well. I drop my phone a lot so it's probably been dropped over 30 times at this point. I have not had any issues with the ring holder/ stand. It works well and has not fallen off. But, if your not careful or open it incorrectly you could damage it by being too harsh on it. That's operator error and not a design flaw. All in all, I love the look, the design, and the durability/ protection that it offers.
