However, the oven/grill environment does mean you need incandescent has they can handle the heat better. This is a very hostile area for any bulb, not just the heat but also the vibrations from any fans within the oven. So life expectancy is often short. The original in my Bosch oven went after just 3 months!They arrive in four little boxes wrapped in bubble wrap. They look very similar to the original bulbs but are just a tad shorter but that causes no problem to me. After reading some of the other reviews, I immediately tested all four bulbs, and they all worked fine. I can't tell you how long they last as I haven't had them long enough yet.My advice when inserting the bulbs is not to overtighten them. When an oven heats up, the heat can cause the bulbs and its holder to expand and can cause the glass seal on the bulb to break causing premature failure. Also, make sure that the glass cover over the bulb is screwed all the way in.Overall, in my case I am pleased with these bulbs, and they are cheap to buy, so as yet I can't fault them.UPDATE (13/2/19):Six months have passed and the bulb is still working perfectly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Needed for my oven *by G***1 on 19 April 2024* No rating for longevity as I've only just installed it... but it's bright enough and good value for money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks good *by M***. on 19 April 2024* Looks good.
