Review: Everything here - This is concise. Includes historical info. Doesn't talk down to you even though it's brief. Very well done to cover so much in such a small book. Great study guide. I'm using it to study for teacher's licensing exam. So glad I found it - covers literature/historical context better than the all-in-one exam guide I found at the library.

Of course I used other study materials too, but this book helped me pass with a very high score. It includes all of the important authors and their works. Very, very few excerpts from the actual works, so be sure to look those up if your intention is to pass a big test like the CLEP.

This is concise. Includes historical info. Doesn't talk down to you even though it's brief. Very well done to cover so much in such a small book. Great study guide. I'm using it to study for teacher's licensing exam. So glad I found it - covers literature/historical context better than the all-in-one exam guide I found at the library.
