I wanted something that looked real, no maintenance, easy to clean and very durable. This artificial grass is beautiful, feels like soft grass and so easy to clean. my dogs absolutely love playing and relaxing in their new area.Plus, I can walk barefoot with no problems it is so soft. The great drainage makes clean up a breeze. To top it off I don't have to worry about weeds, water, yellow dead grass , no mowing!It is very thick and high quality and I believe it will have no problem lasting under the traffic. I used garden stakes to secure it in place and everyone who sees it can't believe what beautiful grass I have and are shocked when I inform them it is artificial. I believe well worth the investment considering all the maintenance costs saved compared to real grass! Not to mention I never have to worry about weed-killing chemicals or pesticides making my babies ill. The only suggestion I have is to make sure the grain of every piece is facing the same way or the coloring looks different. As long as you do that the pieces will blend together seamlessly. Removed various weed growth, and cleared out about 3 inches of soil. Used sand as infill and installed turf. Turf went down and trimmed easily. Secured with landscape staples and galvanized nails. Overall hard work but easy job.
