## Description

The Nipple Guard is a clinically tested, protective, reinforced bandage that lessens compression, shear, and tensile forces, mainly due to scar tissue contraction on a reconstructed or everted nipple, allowing the nipple to heal in an upright / protruded position. Device Specifications: Physical dimensions: 4” width x 4” length x ½” height (external); 5/8" diameter x 1/2" height (nipple opening) Weight: 0.3 oz/device Storage and shelf life: One year when stored at 70º F (21º C), at a 50% relative humidity, out of direct sunlight, and in the original packaging. Safety: For external use only. Do not use on an open wound. The adhesive on the tabs of the Nipple Guard is an acrylic co-polymer that has been tested by an independent laboratory on humans as well as animals. The results indicate that the adhesive is non-irritating and non-sensitizing. The adhesive tape was designed for use with medical devices. Do not use if allergic to acrylic, hexane, or toluene. Discontinue use if irritation occurs and contact your doctor immediately. Keep out of reach of children.
