Every morning, 125 to 150, been doing that for over 20 years. Mostly on a carpeted floor in the same area of my house and yes, I know all about "rug burn". Especially lately, after losing some weight, I found that the friction against the carpet from my mid-upper vertebra were actually a.) wearing holes in the back of my shirt and b.) producing a *bleeding* sore on my back! Hmmm, maybe time to get something to do sit-ups on?Chose the Harbinger because it had 2 inch padding a folded up, so easy to store it against the wall. Also due to good reviews here. Not disappointed. Long enough to stretch out on and the material really sticks to you during exercise like sit-ups. You will not slide off this thing. Could be a tad wider, but that is a minor quibble. Quality looks good, hopefully it will last for many years.Just wish I had not been so cheap and avoided buying a proper exercise mat for so long. I thought it was complete magic... now I know that it's not as much magic as I thought. I think this mat works best on a carpet when using it to sleep on (in addition to a sleeping bag/blankets), but it works just as good on hardwood floor (so long as you have a bit more padding to go along with it.)It's meant for exercise and not sleep, but it works great for a sleeping mat. Great for small kids and even young adults that sometimes have to take the floor when there is limited space.Very easy to put away and store. I'd buy another five if I had to. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I Really Like This Mat *by R***M on June 28, 2010* This mat easily folds to a very convenient size and the carry handles that you can use when it folded are great. The mat cushioning is perfect and I can lie comfortably on a concrete floor without any discomfort at all. I am not using the mat for yoga but for stretching exercises and meditation and it works perfectly for me. It's slightly shorter than most people's body height at five feet, but since I don't need the additional length for what I'm using it for (lying on my back with my knees bent or on my hands on knees), it works great.
