It has great charts that lists actual prices of furniture and equipment that you'll need, and how much investment is needed for the size and type of salon you're looking at opening. It really covers all the bases - finding things like a location, insurance, lawyer, contractor, and how to finance and buildout the space. It covers all the permits and licenses you'll need. It even includes tips on how to promote the salon, hire staff and how to treat customers. Lots of examples, floor plans, and checklists for the reader. Also includes a lot of great salon photos for inspiration. It also has a lot of comments from real life salon owners that tell you problems they had and what they would have done differently. Anyone thinking of opening a new salon or buying an existing salon really needs to buy this book.
