It has no trouble reading any of my games, even the ones that I thought were broken...turns out my dying console just wasn't able to run most of my games anymore (though I'm pretty sure my Ms. Pac-Man cart really is toast). It runs my games. It turns on without a fight (except when I try to play the aforementioned Ms. Pac-Man). It's also compatible with my current TV, which my old console wasn't, which means I don't need to keep that old TV from the 80's anymore to play my games.
