This system contains an 8 ounce can of odor eliminator and a specially designed 30 inch hose for dispensing the product directly in to the system and the areas where odors are originating. In order to aim the foam in the right area the hose has a special attachment for connecting to the evaporator drain from the A/C system. The contents of the can are evacuated up the hose where they attach to the odor causing bacteria in the ductwork, evaporator and drain pan areas. Allow some working time and eliminate odors from the system. This product is safe for all A/C systems and biodegradable. Review: Worked great for me - My 2002 Silverado had a very bad musky stench coming from the vents, smelled like vomit at times. It would be really strong when the a/c was running and some when the heater was run but mostly with the a/c. I even considered trading the truck on a newer model because it was so bad. After researching I found that some years around the early 2000s GM used a different supplier for their evaporators and they didn't spray them with the anti-mildew/mold coating. Apparently its a common problem(not just in GM). To replace the evaporator would have run over $600 so I looked for an alternative. This product fit the bill. I followed the instructions, which takes about 30 minutes to treat, you have to run the vehicle for a while after spraying. It worked great and I'm convinced this is the stuff used car lots use in their cars. Only bad part is that I've found it doesn't last very long, maybe 6-8 months. I guess however long it takes for mold/mildew to grow. I just recently bought another can, if I have to spend $20 a year to keep the truck from smelling like puke, its a small price to pay.
