I duck taped mine closed and it works much better. You must drain the top off after rain. Leave some slack in the cover for rain water. I put screen over the siphon hose to stop clogging. Use a ratchet strap with enough rope added to go around the pool and ratchet it tight to keep it from blowing off. Intex should make a cover without the holes too. Overall this is a good cover, Mine lasted 8 years with 2 times of replacing the Alum. Tape over the dumb holes. **Q: Will this fit an easy set up pool tight enough to not blow off? how does one secure it?** A: No. I had a horrible experience. You would be better of with a tarp. There is a rope that runs through the bottom so that you "can" tighten it. But as soon as you start to pull it tight, it rips the plastic, making it useless. Mine is at the bottom of my pool. **Q: Will this cover a pro series 15 ft round metal frame pool?** A: It most likely should. We were able to fit it over our 15 ft round collapsible pool. However, when covering, you have to tighten it with the cord that comes with it. When stormy, I would strategically prop handles of hoes, shovels and the pool ladder just under the top of the frame where the cover was draped over to prevent gusty winds from blowing it off which worked really well. This year, I plan to tie strong cords to one half side of the pool frame at fixed points, then stretch the cords across to the opposite side and tie them off. Then we will stretch the pool cover across and tie it off and anchor it again. This should help prevent the cover from sinking down into the pool and let the water drain better. We live in a wooded area so our pool is placed near the edge, because of level ground, thus, when it is stormy we get hit with leaves and debris. It is hard to peel the cover back without the trapped water and debris falling in. This should make it easier to peel back the cover when we want to get in the pool without the mess. Since this cover does have drain holes, I prefer it over the solid ones. The bubble wrap solar blanket works too and is well worth the investment when you want to warm up your pool after stormy weather. Just don't spend too much on one. **Q: Can this cover be used for inflatable pool or only the ones with a metal frame?** A: We used it for our metal frame pool (and it was fine, lasted the very snowy winter) but it was a little larger circumference, so we ended up clamping it down on the sides. A reliable way to keep your pool clean and protected. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the price, an excellent product *by J***D on June 29, 2016* The photo doesn't quite show the product we got, there are some differences. The logo placement, which is no big deal. Also, there are holes through the cover which allow the passage of air. These are a good thing, keeping a vacuum from forming, keeping the thing from acting like a wing in high winds and blowing off into your neighbor's yard. It's just that the photo doesn't show the actual product. maybe the one in the photo is an earlier model? We actually have the 13' pool, but there is no cover that size available, so we got this one. It works just fine despite the size difference. In fact, because we have the extra area, we don't have to take the ladder out to put the cover on. We just stretch the cover over the ladder. Which made me realize that if you DO have the 15' pool, you would have to remove the ladder to put the cover on. I'm kinda lazy, so that's not an appealing idea to me. The vinyl is thick and high quality, which matters a lot to us as we live in a desert with very high UV that destroys everything in a short amount of time.Even so, I've noticed a bleaching effect occurring around the areas with the holes. Not sure if that's the chlorine from the pool water, the sun's rays being amplified by the water on top of the cover, or a combination of the two. Pretty sure that's gonna be where the vinyl starts failing, though. I have noticed we lose hardly any water to evaporation when using the cover. Without any cover, we were losing 2"/day of water! The desert is a harsh mistress. We were using black plastic sheathing before we bought this cover, and I'm very happy with the convenience of the cover, the drawstring, the seams, all of that kinda stuff. Marked improvement over our rigged up cheapo cover. I do wish it were a lighter color to help reflect the sun more. It looks light blue, but is more of a medium blue, and it gets pretty hot to the touch in the full sun. When you remove it, it burns your hands pretty quickly if you're not careful. That's not the fault of the cover, though, and I see no way to remedy that except to shade your whole pool. For the price, it's fantastic, although i have a feeling with our harsh conditions, it won't last more than a year. That's par for the course here, though, so not really a minus. It's a good value. If you have the pool, you should get the cover.
