## Description
BATTLE PLANET
In the not-so-distant future, Captain Jordan Strider (Zack Ward, Transformers), a Special Forces Officer in the New World Alliance, is chosen for a top-secret mission. This review is for the standard DVD of'Battle Planet' and 'Riddler's Moon' released by Echo Bridge Home Entertainment.I'm giving this 4 stars. Both movies are above average for their genre.'Riddler's Moon' was originally a television movie for the UPN network debuting in 1998.'Battle Planet' is a low budget movie released in 2008.'Riddler's Moon is a pretty good movie. It stars Kate Mulgrew of 'Voyager' fame. Victoria Riddler is trying to run a farm along with her handicapped son. The bank is threatening to foreclose on the Riddler farm along with just about everyone else's farm. For unknown reason's the county in which the Riddler's live has become barren. No crops are growing. Elias Riddler has a vision and soon after, the farm's crops start growing spectacularly. Nobody else in town is growing anything. Something strange is going on and it may involve aliens.'Battle Planet' is a story of a soldier who has been tricked into testing out a new battle outfit. He is sent to a warring planet to arrest possible traitors. Things get much more involved once he gets there. It is then that he finds out that he can't exit out of his suit.If you can find this DVD for a cheap price it is worth watching. Riddler's Moon is the better of the two movies. 'Battle Planet' is strictly for 'B' movie fans. It is a SyFy channel type of low budget movie. It is a decent low budget sci-fi movie.Recommended for all fans of science fiction.

RIDDLER'S MOON is the reason to buy THIS "two-fer"."Riddler's Moon" really ISN'T a sci-fi flick until the lastscene... and it throws everything into THOSE last few minutes...sorta like the 1986 film THE BOY THAT COULD FLY...which a-l-s-o moves slowly to an EXCITING good ending.Maybe TOO good to some, but I'm a BIG little kid... an OLDlittle kid.Battle Planet was okay, but, months later, all I rememeber is that itWASN'T awful.

I saw Riddler's Moon as a teenager on tv and I was very excited to be able to buy it. I haven't watched Battle Planet yet, but it seems like an interesting show to watch.I am a Kate Mulgrew fan and it's awesome to see her in a more feminine, less commanding and more vulnerable role.
