I wanted to find a sun shade that would block out as much light as possible but wasn't the accordion / folding style. I decided on this one partially because of the lower price but also based on photos posted by other buyers. I love how this will completely block all light. I purposefully bought one that could fit a larger windshield because I knew I could set it up in a way it would fit mine without falling down. To completely block all light, you have to take a few seconds to tuck the shade into the corners of the windshield; but, taking the time is worth it. My car is so much cooler than when I used my old sun shade which was two separate rectangles you unfold then place overlapping one another. They blocked most of the sun but not all.While I do have a garage to park my vehicle in at home, I, unfortunately, don't have that luxury when I'm at my office.
