Bought this one for marking holes for kitchen cabinet door handles and pulls. It's very handy! And I am sure I'll find many other uses for it. Plus it's only going to improve my accuracy.My only issue with this package is not with the ruler but the pencil. The pencil that comes with it is pure junk. And sadly it has the Incra name on it. The little metal piece at the very end of the pencil does not stay put. Both the pencil that comes with this package and another one I received with another ruler set, the metal piece has fallen out. Lost and not to be found again. Since it's what holds the lead stiff at the tip, once that metal piece is gone, the pencil is totally useless.This purchase was for the ruler, and that is high quality, so I don't want to take off more stars because of the pencil. If I was rating the pencil itself, it would get 1 star, lowest you can give. Any one need two pencils that are useless?
