I also changed the color scheme from gold to black, including the back plate. Looks pretty good with a gold frame. However, even though it looks great, the edge display appears more on top than on the edge (see pic). Definitely noticeable when i look at it from bed. Plan on spending your weekend and buy a backing ahead of time. The trick is getting your fingernail in there and i used a guitar pick. playing card nor the tool did the trick for me. Still, overall, happy.
