It probably depends on how thick you have to spray it on. **Q: What is the square footage per can with 1 coat?** A: Not sure because sometimes you need extra coat. **Q: my expresso pot exploded and left coffie stains on my popcorn celing about the size of a football. will this work to paint over it. before i move out?** A: It will. It is basically white spray paint so it may not match perfectly. For example my ceiling was not newly white but the spray is so you could tell it was whiter than the rest. **Q: Does it have a strong smell?If so how long does it hang around** A: Same as any other spray paint, I always remove the tile that needs painting and paint it outside or down in the warehouse then put it back in the offices.
