Drive-away kits offer a secure way to attach your awning to your vehicle whilst still allowing you to easily drive away.Simply attach the magnetic strip to the top of your vehicle, connect the figure-of-8 strip to the keder along one edge before attaching the awning beading along the other. To drive away, simply slide the figure-of-8 out, or detach the magnetic strip from the vehicle.

**Q: Overall length please**
A: Approx 3mtrs

**Q: Does this cut down to size? The drive away awning is only 2 meters plus it's for a Berlingo/Caddy size vehicle!?**
A: I would advise against cutting it as it has material that surrounds the magnets and the running strips. Therefore, once it has been cut, the insides could slip out of the encasing and damage the car.

**Q: Hi there do you know if it would fit a transit van?!**
A: Hello I had this but only used it once as the magnet isn’t strong enough and kept coming off the van so had a rail fitted (Transit Custom)

**Q: Will this fit a 6 birth swift edge  476 model**
A: not sure , this was not particularly successful for me the magnetic strip seemed not to be strong enough

Wasn't gonna buy with other poor/average reviews, but had no choice while waiting for rails to be delivered. The magnet is good enough to hold in place while attaching the awning, and holds well in place with the guy ropes when fitted. Definitely recommend if you can't have a rail fitted to your van.

This product is not for for purpose. The magnet strength is near non existent. A token of attachment to let you know you've not been completely duped but the second it's touched it falls off. I've never been so disappointed in a product. We had to go and buy bungee ropes to to hook the awning tent on. Cannot stress enough DO NOT BUY. wish I had read the reviews because it would appear my opinions are the same as others who wasted good money. M. Bell. Scottish Borders.

It would probably work better on a van with a flat roof. My roof however, has a  curve, so, it was very reluctant to stay on the roof. Also , the roof has to be very clean.I’ve used it in combination with suction cups that kept things in place, my wife also contributed by sewing a couple more fixing loops.
