My previous holder, which broke after a couple of years' use, was ok, but I was never confident it would actually protect my phone should I drop it. Fortunately, I never had to test that theory. This holder, on the other hand, feels like it would truly protect my phone. And it does so without adding too much bulk (but more bulk than my last one). The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because it is a bit more difficult to find the "spot" where the phone clicks into place in the belt holster. I have had it fall out when I thought it had clicked in, so I now pay more attention to make sure it is secure.
