I tested them and put tablets into them side by side to see how I liked them. They are both well-made and provide good protection for your tablets. I liked the fact that they are water resistant and they protect your tablet from shocks and vibrations. They both come with a 55 inch long shoulder strap that you can use on the case or not. It would be ideal for using while you walked through a crowded area like an airport or on a city sidewalk where you may need your hands free to carry other bags or packages. With the strap over your shoulder or even over your head it just feels more secure.The inside of the case is made of a soft material that protects your tablet from being scratched. The case is securely closed with a dual zipper that is a high quality zipper with pull tabs. The front of the cases both have a nice zippered pouch that you can use to store charging cables, a small charging pack or accessories. I show all of this in my video.The difference is size and frankly I prefer the 12.2 inch case and it is a 5 star item. I could actually get an iPad Air 2 into the case and the tablet was already in another case so it was double protected. I could also insert a Samsung Tab 4 eight inch tablet into the case at the same time. The external zippered pouch was larger and I could easily get my big hand into it to store accessories. Please see my video.I inserted an iPad Air that was in the same style of case into the smaller 11 inch version of the foam case and it was a tight fit. This case is ideal for a smaller 6, 7 or 8 inch tablet but is it tight for an iPad Air unless it is "naked". I never carry an iPad naked because they are just too darn slippery and easy to drop. They are too expensive to risk being damaged. I also found the external zippered pouch small and tight to insert accessories into when the case is filled with an iPad. I rated this case as a 4 star as I felt that it was just a little too small for an iPad Air or iPad Air 2 in any type of protective case. If you were going to use it for a smaller tablet then it is a 5 star.These are both good products, just be aware of the size issues and consider what type of tablet that you will be carrying in the foam case.I was supplied a sample for test and evaluation. A review was not promised to the supplier in exchange for the sample but I stated that if I provided a review that it would be fair and honest. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars For "Naked" 11" Tablets -- Too Narrow For Cases (3+ Stars) *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2014* This V7 Memory Foam sleeve offered padded tablet protection in a black sleeve with red accents. It comes with a detachable, black nylon shoulder strap, and it has a zippered front pocket for small items. The sleeve will accommodate an iPad Air as long as the tablet is not in a case. The fit is that tight, with an interior measurement near the opening of 6.5 inches. While that's great to keep the tablet from jostling around, it makes it difficult for anyone like me who likes to travel with a keyboard case. If you have a smaller tablet or don't use a case for a full-size iPad, the sleeve offers great protection.The sole reason that this is too narrow is because of the band near the top for the outer zippered pocket and for attaching the shoulder strap; it permanently cinches the opening the way a tight belt would. The bottom area is plenty side enough. Because I use my iPad Air with a Logitech UltraThin keyboard case, the case's narrow hinge prevents me from slipping both inside the sleeve. A quarter of an inch wider would make all the difference. As it stands, I can't really use this sleeve as I intended for my iPad. Considering how well made it is, that's disappointing.The construction of the sleeve is top-rate: the zippers move smoothly and the seams have hidden stitching. This sleeve is for tablets measuring no wider than 6.5 inches. I've used it on its own with the strap and also inside other bags, since it's lightweight. Much more peace of mind than just throwing my iPad in a shoulder bag with its basic cover and hoping for the best. This gives me more peace of mind against dropping or catching my bag against hard surfaces while the iPad is in it. The zip pocket is handy for carrying a charging cable neatly too.
