I was hoping to take it out and fly it this weekend. But when I went to assemble it, I got as far as adding the stabilizer, and the elevator horn was broken off. I'd mark that up to three things: the piece itself is frail, for a flight-critical item; the packaging is just thin foam sheeting wrapped around the parts which are then just dropped in the box; and the outer package from Amazon consisted of two thin corrugated boxes twice the size of the box the model was shipped in, overlapped and taped, with zero inner packing material, not even those big air blisters or Rome peanuts. So I have to figure out how to get a replacement elevator control horn, or cobble something together from maybe a stronger material. You can see from the picture that the head of the screw that holds the plastic horn to the joiner wire is stripped out. Hope I can get it unscrewed. Too bad, I was looking forward to being able to fly it this weekend.I don't blame the "fulfillment workers" that slave away for Amazon -- they have their "metrics" to meet, or else. So packaging issues are common, since they have to fly low to churn out the mandated quantity of packages out the door. Too bad all us ordinary mopes can't get our acts together and build a better world for all of us.I'll add that the windscreen was not glued in place around most of its periphery. I have big hands, so trying to plug the electronics together and connect the flap servo through the tiny "access" hatch will be a challenge. I saw a YouTube video from a guy who had cut a much larger hatch in the top of the fuselage between the present hatch and the anti collision beacon, I may try that but it won't make hooking up the pushrods any easier. I may add issues as I finish up the assembly. I would note that Flyzone appears to have listened to some of the remarks on this product from the 'net, and shipped reasonably strong screws that did not strip out for me. I may buy some even better screws and replace them all before I finish up the build.And maybe the molds are getting old, but there is a lot of flash around the edges of the vertical and horizontal tail surfaces. I will try to sand it off, but that will remove some paint. Oh well, what do we expect for $170 these days?I will be trying to connect with Flyzone about getting at least a replacement elevator horn. We'll see how that goes. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Don't waste your hard earned money! *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2019* The wings on this look like they are from two different models.The right wing has a big bow in it and the leading edge is 3/8" thick at the smallest point.The left wing is flat with a leading edge that comes to a point.The control surfaces are not flat/straight, not even close.I have to trim the plane all the way to the right for a steady flight. Making right turns very slow and non responsive. It does fly, just poorly.I will not be buying Flyzone products in the future.Edit: I decided to give it 3 stars after a few dozen flights as I have had no issues with the servos or any of the electronic part. Even after a couple of slow crashes in to the drink where water got in the battery compartment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a great airplane. This is actually my first larger size model plane and it was a little nerve racking on the first flight. Once I had it up for a few minutes though, it was great. Handled great, you have to get used to the slower response at slow speeds but that is to be expected of a larger aircraft. All in all, I love this thing, I would buy it again. Construction is quality for a foam aircraft. I used an AR8000 receiver and Spektrum DX8 transmitter, binded like a charm, reversed control surfaces and she was ready to fly.
