You download the app to your device and follow the online instructions to use and away you go. To charge someone for an item of sale is also very easy, just remember to set it to receive payment in 3 days after transaction, otherwise it'll go straight into your bank and you pay a higher fee. I run a small hotel so my payments are for the odd room but mainly for bar purchases so rarely more than £1500 a month. The 1.75% transaction fee works well for me rather than those with a monthly fee because of my small turnover by card. The reader is so compact and works well with the app on my smartphone. You can also take payments over the phone or send a link. A guy recently pointed out to me that he uses izettle and took £2,370 last month on card and their fees where just £40.
