My filter is an upflow filter - a clear tube approx 110mm diameter x 1200mm tall, this is followed with an Eazy pod. The UV unit is approx 600mm long and the pump is at ground level some 3000mm away. The pipework is mainly 40mm solid with the occasional rubber flexi connector. At minimum setting (15w), the pump struggles to push water through the whole system when starting afresh so I tend to prime the system on maximum setting (25w). Once flowing, I can reduce the setting to minimum for continuous running, this also allows for maximum 'hang' time of anything passing through the vertical UV which, judging by the colour of my filter media (K+) works really effectively. The pond is in full sun with no shade and the water is very clear so the whole system is working a treat and the pump is obviously doing a great job of pulling everything out of the pond that shouldn't be in there. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works brilliantly *by D***E on 27 June 2024* Clasps are difficult to open. However that is the only downside. Easy to jet wash clean without opening. Adjustable wattage is a great feature.
