This is the best one I've found so far. It includes a 4 amp power adapter, and I've noticed that if you plug too many devices into it and attempt to over-draw power, the unit has a failsafe mechanism to prevent damage to your PC or other components.This usb hub has the best power management of any I've used (I've tried almost every brand so far, saitechi, belkin, rosewill, plugable, etc.Also, the user complaining about this hub not charging his ipad doesn't understand how USB charging works. You have to have 5 volts on the data pins for USB to charge iDevices. No USB hub will have this b/c they're not designed for it. Thus, you must plug the hub into a PC to have it charge an iDevice.
