What Are Jigsaw Whimsy Pieces? "Whimsies" add a whole new level to this popular indoor pastime and can make a puzzle a lot more fun. Whimsies are puzzle pieces cut into specific recognizable shapes, like flowers or animals. They got their name because they were originally cut according to the whims of the puzzle craftsman. For Artist Jun Sato, Nature and the animal are treasures. I want to pass on nature and animal's stories, the legends, and the myths. I am drawing the picture for better relations between people and the animal world.

Purchased this for my 12 year old daughter for Christmas. Took her less than 24 hrs to put it together but, it is by far the most beautiful puzzle we have ever seen. Its already glued and in a frame on the wall in her room.
