Review: Good, strong, nails, exactly as described, and ideal for hard wood flooring. - I was very impressed with these nails, since they never bent or broke. I did have to pre-drill since the wood was incredibly hard (as it should be, with quality flooring). In fact, the wood was so hard, that when I pre-drilled with a skinnier drill accidentally, I couldn't power the nails through the wood at all, and yet the nails didn't break, despite very hard hammering (I just mean this as a testament to the quality of the nails, and yes, I took the nail out and pre-drilled properly with a thicker drill). Review: Toughest nail ever used - Maze nails are great and this is my review for them. Looks like someone changed the company to some cheap knock off. Maze nails: Not a single one bent. They drive well and seem impossible to bend. Anyone who has to hand nail oak flooring should buy these nails. If you’re face nailing I’d suggest drilling a shallow recess hole for the nail head. These were hard to set into the boards I face nailed.
