I've purchased more expensive pieces and they do not even look as nice. I can't stop looking at it b/c that's how beautiful it is. The crystals pieces shimmers and shines like a very expensive piece. There are over 50 strands of crystals (each strand came assembled from 5 piece strands to 14 piece strands) so it took awhile to hang each strand but well worth it. People ask if I spent a fortune on this and when I told them how much I spent, they were stunned. Hopefully my pictures will help, although the pictures don't really do it justice. The crystals shimmer so much more in person.I searched online for days and on multiple websites looking for the perfect piece and sooooo glad I went with this one for my living room. I bought the model with hanging wires but the crystal stands were longer than I thought so I had the wire/chain hanging very short so if you have a low ceiling, go with the flushmount model instead, which is about $10 cheaper anyways.It uses 9 small G12 bulbs which amazon sells in a pack of 10. Another reviewer recommended to buy from Amazon.com b/c they are cheaper than Home Depot or Lowe's.
