But you can get this string for less straight from 60x, so once again, I overpaid.Do a little research before buying a string, and you’ll save money and time. Dacron will outlast Spectra (Fast Flight), and the performance differences is not worth noting. The Dacron gets better after use, and the louder distinct sounding Spectra wears out faster. FF is used in competition where sound is not an issue, and changed out at around 500 arrows loosed in an attempt to gain even the slightest (as little as 3 FPS) increase while new. (But slower after worn) with more string creep than Dacron.For recreational archery I’ll just stick with Dacron, and 14 strands has proven to out preform any string I’ve tried on my 68” AMO TD recurve (23” Greatree riser, w/long PSE limbs) stacks to 48# @ 30”.
