So I bought a $220 Sherwood raw water pump and made my own mount for my Onan Marine Generator. I needed a 6 inch pulley with 1/2 inch shaft size to turn the water pump at the correct speed for the volume of water not to exceed 4 gallons per minute. I was concerned on the price of this pulley whether it would be durable enough especially with the spokes. The pulley was a perfect fit except it has NO Keyway slot..so that was the only disappointment. I had to cut my own key way with a hacksaw blade which surprisingly was easy to do with this pulley material being soft enough to cut it out within a few minutes. Add some Loctite and install the new pulley and I have ran my Generator on my boat for 8-10 hours at a time without any issues. This pulley is a excellent price..runs straight and seems very strong..I am very happy with the purchase.
