Ive used it on a small trim job and the miters were tight. Eliminates ugly caulk and speeds things up. The quality is ok. If you put some twisting motion on it, it will flex some but its not flimsy. Has a adjustment nut on the back for calibration if needed which is nice. The printed ink on the gauge doesn't appear to be jet black, its a lighter shade of black. It is just printed, the marks are not embossed or imprinted into the plastic. I do not store it in my toolbox where it will get beat around or anywhere it will get scratched up. Comes with a felt pouch.
