The clips in the back of the overlay was not long enough to successfully grab the lip of the factory grille to attach itself. I began to doubt myself as to whether I was correctly installing it. So, I went to the local Chevrolet dealership. They came to the same conclusion and recommended me sending it back as I could easily be rolling down the street and the grille cover would fall off. Its a tricky process and these come from Taiwan where the good stuff come from, not China where the cheap knock offs come from. Its the same material on anything already chrome on your truck, its all chromed plastic, they dont use metal anymore and havent for many many decades. **Q: Will this grill fit my nissan z 35?** A: No, this grille is for a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 model. **Q: Why will it not stay on factory grill?** A: You will have to get some heavy duty two sided tape and put on the grill before it will stay on. I did this to mine and it has been on for a couple of years with no problem. **Q: Will this fit a 2015 Chevy Silverado with the z71 on it?** A: Yes. But I Do Not recommend it. I purchased one for my 2015 silverado Z71 and it now sits in my attic collecting dust. It looks good on the vehicle the problem is keeping it on. Mine would keep popping off on one side or the other so I tried double sided automotive tape still no go. So I ended up taking it off and replacing it w/ a billet style overlay grill that bolts on. Its actually a way nicer looking grill, easy installation and it actually stays on. The product arrived quickly. Installation is pretty straightforward and only took a few minutes. I love how it adds a little something to the front. I saw what people were saying about it not fitting well. It seemed as though it didn't want to snap in but with moderate pressure I got them to snap on just fine. I was sort of doubting that it would stay snapped and figured it would come off while driving. I am pleased to say that I have had it for about a year now with no problems. I've taken it through several car washes and it still looks great. The issue seems to be in the manufacturing tolerances regarding the snap position and length. I guess the company either figured out their issues or I just got lucky. For the price, I'm glad I took the risk.
