Yes the pen part is still a little cheap but it works well andlooks awesome! I love my pen! I was so excited for this pen! i'm a huge harry potter fan and i wanted something i could carry in my purse that was useful and gave me an excuse to nerd out while still trying to be an adult. Looking at the wand/pen its actually really cool in person ! and the handle is pretty well made. the pen itself is just a plain cheap blue ink pen but the handle definitely makes up for that part. The super disappointing part is that the handle/pen top is too heavy for the pen that it falls off every time. there is absolutely no grip to hold the pen at all and no matter wich end you hold the pen from the cap falls off every time. this stinks because there is no way I can carry this pen in my purse without getting pen marks all over the inside from the top sliding off. I Attached a video so you all can see it for yourselves :( someone needs to make a better quality harry potter pen/wand because I would seriously pay way more money for a well made and functioning one. ** Also I noticed that a lot of people were confused by the product photo thinking that it came with a wand and a pen or it came with two pen/wands.
