A: Hi, 

This product does not need sanded, the smooth finish is achieved during the application stage.
Once applied, remove the excess material then smooth out the product, when this has dried it will leave a smooth paintable surface.

**Q: Can it be used around electrical sockets?**
A: I wouldn’t advise for you to use it around electrical sockets as most of them are screwed into the walls. So by using caulk it will make it a lot harder to remove when needing to.
