Mine did not...** A: The black pump has an inflate needle located at the top of the handle. Pull back the tab and you take the inflate needle out and pump up the ball. When when the ball is pumped up just take the needle out and store in the handle. Hope this helps. That’s actually one of my favorite moves on this Body Sphere to help release and massage the hips, sacrum and lower back. **Q: How to deflate** A: To deflate, wet the tip of the included pump with water or lubricant and insert it into the inflation valve. While inserted, gently apply pressure to the ball. Air should gradually escape. Remove the needle pump once the desired inflation is reached. **Q: How much air do you put in to the body ball? On the LoRox video it doesn't look fully inflated.** A: For rolling the stomach, try about 60-70% full. I am glad I got this one. It is well made by Ledraplastik in Italy, a company known for making quality fitness products. It is important to me that this was made by a reputable company rather than somewhere with low quality standards. After all, this will get in touch with my skin and I am trying to treat do my body a favor with these exercises. The ball is different from any of the other balls that I have. It is a lot more substantial than a Pilates ball or my Courageous ball. It is somewhat similar to my Yamuna gold ball but a little smaller and quite a bit softer. The ball is expensive but I'd rather pay a bit more for quality that lasts.
