Review: Very small compact,durable and accurate - I love this little meter it’s my go to whenever I need to measure either voltages or capacitors for my HVAC unit. It does it all. There are limitations it’s only rated up to 600V but for your average home owner that’s all you need. Measures capacitors up to 100uf which is plenty enough. Even my 87-III meter can’t read above 5uf. I just love the small factor you can easily put it in your pocket display is very visible as well. Overall great little tool for your average home owner. Would recommend 100%.

**Q: Is it a backlit screen?**
A: The 101 does not have a backlight.

**Q: Does it make sound with continuity?**
A: I just checked , mine doesn’t any sound .

**Q: Does this fluke, measure dc volts in decimal point eg: 12.42 v ? or just 12v? purchased a uni-t that give me only whole numbers...need a replacement.**
A: Yes.  The Fluke 101 measures dc volts in decimal point.  Plus the auto scaling means you don't have to select the voltage range.  It does it for you.  I just verified it by checking my car battery / 12.32VDC.

**Q: Can you add the magnetic strap to this ?**
A: The TPAK would work with the 101.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A really good basic multimeter

I am always impressed with Fluke's quality. This is a good basic DMM. This is my go-to when I do not want to take my more expensive ones out to work on equipment. The one thing I really like is that, unlike my other Flukes, it reads very low in the pF range. The tradeoff is it does not read as high, either, but since my others do, I can let that go. Also, it does not measure DC current. It feels durable as once would expect, takes normal AAA batteries and is very easy to use. It does not have a built-in stand and the leads are a little stiff, but, still, I give this high marks for its quality and usefulness.
