While some of the techniques he mentions are used by trained therapists to teach their clients, he makes claims that could lead to false hope; for example, never arguing again and fixing all of their issues in three sessions or less. I noticed many times when he would mention methods to use that "he" created, when in fact he changed the name of the actual technique and claimed it as his own. Please find a different book. Anyone who claims they are a therapist would never suggest someone to do these things without their partner knowing, because that creates secrecy and manipulation. I could also not find any sort of credentials even though he claims to be a "psychotherapist." I'm glad I used this book for a book review assignment, because I will be informing many people not to even give it the time of day. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helped quite a bit *by M***T on February 19, 2018* There are two books that I recommend every single person to read before dating and every couple to read. One being the Passion Trap by Dean C. Delis and the other being this book. Both I have purchased multiple times. The help this book offers is worth every penny. It sheds a whole new light on communication. In fact if you were considering couples therapy, neither of you would need it if you both followed the suggestions in this book. I bought it because I was dating a very insecure person who made wild assumptions due to bad communication in his past relationships. This helped quite a bit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Miracles indeed. Simple.
