It also has basically the same size, shape, and footprint. Mounted using the built-in Arca-Swiss dovetail on a compatible clamp, the lens is front-heavy. This is no different than the original Sigma, but you would mount a long Arca-Swiss plate to give more adjustment on that. On this item, they could have adjusted to be longer or add an angled connecting neck to shift the foot farther forward for better balance.
