The colors are not named on the box- they have little "thumbnails" with a number for the color. I am just trying to be helpful to those who want to know what colors come in the set. I mostly use pastels to do "faceups" on dolls. I scrape the powder from the pastel stick so I can "paint" in on the doll's face. I can mix the colors by mixing the powder this way. I found that these pastels mix just as well as paint and are very smooth when applied to a primed doll head.
