However, the functionality of the design gives me pause. The ceramic top fits over what is sort of a plastic gasket at the bottom. It is somewhat awkward to remove the ceramic top without spilling something. Also, when removing the top, the placement of the on/off switch is such that the unit is easy to accidentally turn on. This can lead to liquid spraying all over the place. There is an inner plastic piece under the ceramic that needs to come out when filling or cleaning the unit. Why this piece was not designed to permanently attach to the ceramic, I will never understand.
