I started on my arms since at this time of year they are usually covered up and would have plenty of time to fade if I did not like the color or if streaking occurred. I was very happy with the results, so I went onto my legs. I have some age spots, so I covered them with a thick make-up cover up and used the towels around and between the spots. I did have some streaking on my legs, but this was my fault as I know that I wiped some areas twice and, therefore the tan is darker in those places. Knowing this, I am even more impressed because I thought it was going to take many, many separate occasions to get the tan to a dark enough shade; but now I know that I just have to wipe it 2 or 3X in the same sitting to get the color darker. Being crazy, I did not use the gloves the 2nd time, and the underside of my fingers are a beautiful brown color. I am trying to find a way to remove this, but have not been successful so far. There is no orange, and I started with very fair, dry, almost white skin. This is a great color and if you follow the directions, it works beautifully. ### ⭐⭐⭐ When you do use them correctly the color is nice. They work the best on my legs and ... *by R***S on July 25, 2016* I ripped the first 2 towelettes from this box, but I have not ripped the last 3 I used. The instructions tell you, that you must wait 24 hours after shaving before using these. This isn't realistic for me, I have pale skin but dark hair, so must shave my legs daily. I wish I had seen that before I ordered them. You must gently glide these, for them to work correctly. When you do use them correctly the color is nice. They work the best on my legs and arms, as far as gliding them. I need to use 3 towelettes to completely cover my body. They work differently that Loreal's towelettes, which is what I was used to using, just so you know. You need to experiment and practice with these. These probably work even better for someone who does not have to shave daily, but I am going to keep using up my box of them. Seller was quick to respond, but so far, I have only received the same advice as was enclosed with the package. I won't be purchasing these again for myself, but I believe they will work well for other people. It just doesn't work as well on my pale skin. Good luck! ### ⭐ Streaks each time ! *by H***M on September 12, 2015* I purchased this item during a sale. The price was so good, I figured I'd try a new brand. I have used dozens of tanning products over the past ten years. I feel that I am therefore pretty skilled at applying them. I usually never have problems with darker spots, streaking, tanner build up on hands, feet, or ankles, etc... That said, unfortunately this product causes streaks way too easily,I really liked the color, and it develops pretty quickly. I did not find the smell to be unpleasant. I didn't feel sticky afterwards. The problem really seems to be that the towels are not thick or moist enough to stay flat during application. They bunch up and fold, causing a smaller coverage area, and therefore leading to the streaking. After having this problem with my initial application (2 towels for whole body and face) I attempted to rectify it for my next one. I used more towels, went slower, and really focused on the goal of even coverage. That time I used four towels. The color looked great, and there was a tad less streakage, but still very noticeable lines. I tried a third time, improving my application method as much as I could, and still had the streaks. I now have half of the box of towels left, and no real desire to try again. I usually end up using all my tanning products right away, and wishing I had more. There are so many products out there that are really fool-proof, I can't imagine why anyone would use this one.
