It replaces an identical item which is now installed. Care has to be exercised on installation, and the cartridge firmly put in place, otherwise a 'lid not fully closed' message is sent.Print quality when installed is first class. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked just fin *by T***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 22 November 2020* Found the little attachments that protect during shipping to be difficult to know what to take off, instead of matching the grey housing they should be orange or something. There's also a little grey plug on the side where they fill the toner that looks like it needs to come off as part of all the other protective bits, but DON'T lest you get toxic toner everywhere.I found it also didn't really drop into place the way a genuine one does, you have to work it in coaxing it to seat properly but once it does you're good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommended *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 14 August 2019* Original toner cartridge didn’t work but I’d already been contacted by the company to let me know that there may be an issue with the chip on the cartridge.
