He wouldn't let me measure him. They had to go back! Measure twice, buy once! I was disappointed I had to buy a different brand to fit him. These are the only plus size boot cut jeans available, but, not in his size. He really wanted a boot cut.They're extremely nice, well made jeans though! Probably true to size. You won't be disappointed in them if you measure and they come in your size. For jeans, I measure with my husband seated. His pants get tight if he sits. He wears suspenders or when he's standing, they fall down. But seated, he needs extra room. Everything shifts.He DID like them, but most married men know nothing about sizes.
