No issues for me, but just to be clear. It does disassemble into a lot of pieces (but this is the reason it works so well).If you're having issues with a slipping steerer plug, I would highly recommend this one. I have several carbon steerers and had one that just wouldn't snug up. I purchased the deda in an attempt to stop the issue, and it has worked flawlessly. Great product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Featherweight With a Firm Grip *by M***K on June 3, 2014* Was having problems with my stock binder creeping loose while riding. The Deda Element is far better at gripping the inside of the carbon steerer tube due to its dual tier design and four segments per tier. A total of eight separate knurled segments grip the steerer and the tightening mechanism is silky smooth. It all adds up to easier tightening with lower pressure required to get the same amount of grip onside your delicate steerer tube. And it is featherweight with an impeccable level of workmanship. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ May well solve your loosening headset issues. *by L***5 on November 23, 2015* A little wary of the way these things seem to "grip" the carbon steerer, but after fighting a steerer for over a year (constant loosening with FSA model) this thing has been a dream. Has not come loose once.
