They come already backed with powerful, automotive grade adhesive tape, and easy to follow instructions. They can be fitted in minutes but will look good for the lifetime of your car. They have a polished finish. Any dark areas that may be seen on the surface of the sill plates in the photographs are just reflections of dark areas in the vicinity of the sill plates at the time of the photograph.
