**Q: Is this the same as Pastina?**
A: Pastina is teeny star pasta, it is NOT the same thing as Acini de Pepe. Acini de Pepe are little beads. This pasta is not the same as pastina even though they are both star shaped. This pasta is bigger than pastina.

**Q: What is the ingredients?**
A: According to the website, stelline is made with durum semolina wheat and water - no preservatives or additives.

**Q: Where is this made?**
A: The Granoro Pasta factory is located in Corato, Puglia, Italy. As I understand, there is only the one location. Corato is close to the eastern coast of Italy, near the arch of the "boot", almost due east of Naples. Hope this answers your question.

This pasta is really nice! It is tasty and good quality. Expiration date is a few years out, thankfully. Not a huge deal because it is pasta - but it is frustrating to order something and get it close to it's expiration date.

My daughter wanted pasta stars for her meals at daycare - just like the other kids who had the over-priced and over-processed Gerber Graduates meals with pasta stars. I was surprised to find that none of my local grocery stores carry star-shaped pasta, so I was forced to find it online. These pasta stars were a reasonable purchase/size for the price, and they cooked up easily and perfectly. The first thing we made was some home-made chicken and stars soup which is ten times better than the store-bought canned stuff. My daughter is thrilled that we can make our own at home - I'm happy knowing it tastes better and is healthier than the stuff in cans and pre-cooked.
