I had to dig out a 12v 1A DC adapter from my cables drawer. Alo works with DVDRW drives so long as you use a DC power adapter. ### ⭐ Sent me normal USB 3 not Type C 3.1 Thunderbolt 3 *by R***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 June 2019* A good small piece of kit but Sent me normal USB 3 not Type C i recently upgraded my laptop to an SSD and realised afterwards I hadn't copied everything I needed from the old drive. I ordered this it arrived quickly, I plugged it in all my files was there. I dual boot Windows and Linux and the drive was correctly detected in both in fact, due to the limitations of Windows it worked even better in Linux, will all partitions being mounted immediately.
