It seems to me that this would cause your film to not sit tight to the case like you want. Also, it would be visible even if clear. I'm not sure of any glue other than maybe a spray adhesive where it would not be visible. **Q: Would you recommend this glue as something to install a zipper onto a cloth tote handbag? I need an alternative to sewing.** A: I am pretty sure it would do the job, but I am no certain that it would be the best adhesive for that purpose. I would probably look for a fabric glue that would really work its way into the fibers. Isn't there a glue that you could heat up with an iron that would stick the zipper to the tote once it cools back down? I reckon E6000 would work if you were careful and could compress things overnight, working the glue into the fabric, but if I had my preference, I would probably try a glue specifically made for fabric first. I guess another approach would be to buy E6000 and test it on some fabric scraps first. It's a great glue and if it doesn't work for your tote, I am sure you will find other uses for it. **Q: Is is ok for outdoor projects as far as low to freezing temps? I would take that to mean that you can expect it to retain its potential between those two temperatures. They also mention that if frozen, you should let the uncured tube thaw out and reach room temperature before use. **Q: Does fabric stay flexible/foldable if you apply this as a seam sealer?** A: Semi-flexible.
