I have a rainshower head that always surprises me how much liquid can be inside it when turned off, and more comes out depending upon the angle you hold it at, this means you might have baffles that can hold CLR and disperse it when you turn the water on, even if you think it's empty. I've gotten some on my skin and washed it off promptly with no issues, but it could burn those with fair or soft skin if left on for any amount of time. I would imagine it would injure your eyes instantly. Be sure to rinse the fixture well before use and wash any residue off of sinks, tile or grout to prevent damage or staining. This is a great product but you have to be careful; wear gloves, eye protection and do not let fumes build up or inhale them.
